Way To Grow Child Care Learning Center offers play-based learning experiences that include activities such as Yoga For Kids. The program also runs a travel camp that takes children on visits to fun and educational local attractions throughout Suffolk County. Children use both indoor and outdoor playgrounds and play areas during their time in the program.

Way To Grow Child Care Learning Center has been serving the community with quality childcare since 2001 and is owned and operated by the Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. The center offers full and part time programs, individualized curriculum and care for children six weeks through Pre-K, before and after care bus transportation for children in Kindergarten through 12 years of age, and a fun filled summer camp and school holiday program for children ages six through 12 years of age. The travel camp is for children in first grade through 12 years of age and includes bus travel to local attractions throughout Suffolk County under supervision by highly-qualified staff.
The program’s mission states that Way to Grow Child Care/Learning Center offers a quality childcare program that provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop. The center is staffed by dedicated, experienced, and qualified caregivers, and every classroom has a bi-lingual speaking staff member. Teachers collaborate with the Funshine Express curriculum, and the diverse curriculum includes language, math, science, art, music, and social skills, with daily access to hitting milestones and age-appropriate developmental needs from infancy to school age.
Way To Grow Child Care Learning Center provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks, along with nutritious meals and snacks and encouragement of physical activity to promote healthy habits. Families receive daily updates on each child’s activities and progress through a parent communication mobile app, and security cameras are in use throughout the center. The program also offers income eligible subsidy through the Department of Social Services.
