Syracuse Children’s Theatre offers audition preparation, dance and movement, music, and scene work. All classes and camps culminate in a production that focuses on musicals, which combine acting with dance and song.

Syracuse Children’s Theatre has been a theatrical training ground for the children of Central New York since 1999. The organization provides semester-long classes and school break camps throughout the year. Syracuse Children’s Theatre is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. The program is led by Todd Ellis, Founder and Executive Director, and Kellie Ellis, Associate Director. Its stated mission is to always strive to give children a very positive and rewarding experience. According to Associate Director Kellie Ellis, “SCT is a fun place where kids and teens discover the magic of theatre, explore their talent and create lasting friendships.”
