Ann and Andy Childcare provides childcare within programs housed in two buildings on a 5 acre campus, with 12 classrooms uniquely designed to support development from infancy to school age. The center is licensed to care for 154 children and includes over 20 age appropriate playgrounds, including a transportation playground, a “beach,” a backyard play area, two water slides, a climbing wall, a zipline, a tree house, a clubhouse, a nature trail, a cycling area, a western town area, basketball, soccer and soft ball fields, a gaga arena, mini golf, and a gazebo. Each classroom has a mini library, and there is also a large shared library that provides teachers with additional materials to support class topics. Preschool age classrooms are equipped with iPads and computers.
Children ages 2–3 years old take part in enrichment classes in Creative Movement, Library, and Soccer, and children ages 3–5 years old take part in enrichment classes in Gymnastics, Yoga, Soccer, and Library. The program recommends a minimum of three days per week for the nursery and preschool aged programs. Unique and innovative indoor and outdoor play spaces are used to encourage exploration, experimentation, and discovery, and staff are carefully trained to maintain a balance between planned activities and child-initiated play.
