About
Campus and Community Children's Center Early Care & Education and School Age Programs offers early care and education as well as school age programs. The program emphasizes a warm, nurturing environment where every child can explore, learn, and thrive at their own pace, and it respects the dignity, worth, and uniqueness of each individual child, family, and colleague. It respects cultural diversity, promotes gender equality, and promotes pro-social behavior, nonviolence, and conflict resolution.
• Schedule: Early Care & Education Program hours 7:30am–5:30pm, school age before- and after-school options, and preschool and full-day options with wrap-around care
The Campus and Community Children's Center provides quality, developmentally appropriate care and education to the children of students, working families, and community members, and works in partnership with parents, communicating regularly to bring greater consistency between home, center, and school. It partners with families and provides a model of advocacy for children, families, and teachers, and celebrates what makes each family unique while keeping open lines of communication. The program provides for the health, safety, and well-being of children and families, offers a developmentally appropriate environment that allows children the opportunity to enhance their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth, and commits to a philosophy of lifelong learning and maintaining a standard of excellence. It also commits to a leadership role in public policy regarding issues of care and education.
