Camp Weona is a program of YMCA Buffalo Niagara. It operates as one of the two overnight camps run by the YMCA in the Western New York community. Camp Weona is part of a larger network that also includes five wellness centers and over 40 child care locations.

Founded in 1852, YMCA Buffalo Niagara is the second-oldest YMCA in the United States and one of the oldest institutions in Western New York. YMCA Buffalo Niagara is a charitable, community-based organization committed to providing programs designed to build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. As a nonprofit organization, the Y is supported by membership dues and program fees, community fundraising, the YMCA Turkey Trot, grants, and annual earnings from its Endowment Fund. Each year, the YMCA allocates $1.6 million to support equitable access for people in the Western New York community.
