Great Neck Park District Youth Programs include activities such as a Lunar New Year Celebration with on-ice and off-ice performances, activities, crafts, food, and a free public skating session from 1:30–3:00pm. The program also offers Winter Camp Parkwood during the February school break, which features ice skating lessons paired with sports instruction, along with public skating, Couples Learn to Skate, an Adult Skating Workshop, Open Play @ Playscape, Skate School, and Bruins travel hockey games at the 12U Gold, 12U Black, 14U, and 18U levels. In addition, the Steppingstone Summer Concert Series offers a variety of entertainment to residents with a valid park card during the summer, and residency in the Great Neck Park District is required in order to utilize programs and to obtain a park card.
