About
Rye Racquet Club Junior Programs and Summer Camp offers tennis instruction that includes 12 & under tennis with red, orange, and green ball programs, a Junior Development program for students 12 and older, and High School Varsity/Junior Varsity Training. The program also offers High Performance Training, the Johnny Gularte Development Program, Match Play Program, MITL and USTA JTT team tennis, a Summer Program, and Special Holiday Camps. Group clinics, private and semi-private lessons, and youth programs are part of the offerings.

• Price: Early enrollment 10% discount if registered by April 1st for the Summer Program 2025.
Rye Racquet Club was established in 1961 as a 3 court tennis club, added two more courts the following year, and expanded again in 1974 with four outdoor courts on an adjacent property. The club launched its junior program, Rye Tennis Academy, in 1973 with 60 students and now has over 600 students enrolled in its weekly Junior Program and over 600 adults in the Adult Program. Rye Racquet Club staff members have been serving the New York racquet community since 1961.
Rye Racquet Club offers five indoor climate controlled plexi-cushion courts with a multi-layered surface and four Har-tru courts with a cushion-like character, with an air structure placed over the Har-tru courts in the fall and winter months to allow for 12 months of play. The club is open to the public with no membership fees and offers a large selection of programs for the whole family, including adults and juniors, along with women’s doubles and men’s singles playing leagues, iFit cardio tennis, introductory level workshops, drop-in clinics, USTA and HVTL team tennis, seasonal courts, cardio classes, workshops, and special holiday events. The in-house pro shop, “The Tennis Professionals,” sells racquets, sneakers, clothing, balls, accessories, snack items, and provides racquet restringing and regripping, and also offers free iFit/Cardio Tennis trial classes at specified times.
