About
The Village of Haverstraw Summer Camp Program is a six-week summer program that includes swimming, arts and crafts, field trips, movies, sports, breakfast and lunch, and other positive alternatives for youth. The camp day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM, with an “after camp” program available from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM for an additional cost. The camp is open to the first 125 children who apply, and Village of Haverstraw youth are given preference, with youth outside the Village able to attend for an additional fee.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Six-week summer program beginning in early July and ending in mid-August, with camp days from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and an optional after-camp program from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM
• Price: An “after camp” program from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM is available for an additional cost ($250). Youth outside the Village may attend camp for an additional fee.
The program operates under the leadership of Mayor Michael F. Kohut, Deputy Mayor Gil Carlevaro, Trustees Joel I.A Santana, Richard Sena, and Andrea Caccuro, Village Treasurer Alicia Boudreau, Village Clerk Isabel Gonzalez, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Elaine Fernandez, and Village Attorney J. Nelson Hood, Jr. Applications are available at the Village Hall or on the village website.
