Full Year Head Start

Full Year Head Start is one of the programs offered by the Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County, Inc. The program is part of the agency’s broader work with income-eligible families.

The Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County, Inc. is a community action agency whose mission is to empower income-eligible families, through collaboration and partnership, to gain the knowledge, skills, and resources to improve the quality of their lives. In pursuit of this mission, the agency advocates on clients’ behalf to provide more opportunities and fewer barriers, provides educational and economic resources to increase client self-sufficiency, helps reduce the causes and effects of poverty, and fosters citizen participation to initiate programs and improve existing services based on local community needs. Through collaboration and partnership, the agency involves the community in efforts to support income-eligible families.
