About the provider
The Nassau County Police Boys Club was formed in 1940 under the direction of Nassau County’s first Police Commissioner, Abraham Skidmore. NCPAL says it operates 31 units in over 40 communities throughout Nassau County and serves 20,000 youth each year. Its mission is to operate youth clubs and provide sports, crafts, educational, and other programs for boys and girls in Nassau County regardless of race, religion, income, or disability.
NCPAL uses the same cut-off date as the school district for participation in programs. It states that the age cut-off for registration follows the same cut off used by the school district for the relevant grade/age program.
