Camp Cherith of Western New York offers resident (overnight) camp, day camp, mini camp, horse camp, adventure tree climbing, and Camper in Leadership Training 1 and 2. Campers choose 3 activities for the week and rotate through one hour for each activity Monday through Friday. Some activities, including horsemanship and tree climbing, are available for an extra fee.

Programs

  • Resident (Overnight) Camp — Boys and girls, ages 7-18 (grades 2-12) · Arrive on Sunday and stay at camp overnight through Friday · Campers are assigned to gender specific small groups of 5-8 children and live all week with an enthusiastic, dedicated, and trained cabin counselor. Campers choose 3 activities for the week.
  • Day Camp — Ages 7-12 (grades 2-6) · Monday through Friday
  • Mini Camp (overnight) — 2nd-5th grade · Sunday through Wednesday at 5pm, with the option to stay for the whole week · A mini taste of camp for young campers who want to stay overnight, but aren’t sure they want to stay the whole week. Includes regular activity selection and a campfire cookout.
  • Horse Camp — Girls in grades 5-12 · The serious horse lover will experience two activity hours daily of riding and horse care and one regular camp activity hour. Basic riding skills are required. Space is limited.
  • Adventure Tree Climbing — At least 7 years old · Tree climbing is available to the public on specific dates. Reservations required. Dependent on staff availability.
  • Camper in Leadership Training (CILT) 1 and 2 — At least 15 years old and entering 10th grade
