Adventure Day Camp

Hyde Park Recreation Youth Programs and Camps offers youth programming that includes day camps and swim lessons, as well as summer camps. The program is part of a broader set of activities that also includes the Music in the Parks series, Daniel's Fishing Derby 2025, Community Day, the Town-Wide Tag Sale, the Memorial Day Parade 2025, Independence Day 2025, the Halloween Hayride, the Halloween Pumpkin Patch, and the Parade of Lights.

• Schedule: Parks & Recreation office hours are listed as Monday–Friday, with hours noted as 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and also as 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Hyde Park Recreation Youth Programs and Camps operate within a department that states a mission of providing recreation programs and services that are educational, cultural, and social in nature and that are designed to promote positive emotional and social development of participants. The leadership team includes Recreation Director Robert G. Pollard, Jr. and Recreation Leader Morgan Sacerdote. The broader recreation offerings take place in a town described as the home of beautiful state and national parks and many private swimming, tennis, and boating clubs, and the department notes that volunteering is part of the community’s vibe, with a variety of clubs and organizations adding dimension to recreation options. The program is also connected to the Hyde Park Recreation MyRec Portal and features the iconic Music in the Parks series as part of its unique offerings, along with year-round programming and events for Hyde Park residents.
