Arts Center Lake Placid Classes & Camps offers a range of workshops and camps, including Wine Bottle Floral Arrangement with Kim Gokey, improv workshops with Brandon Gardner, a Beginners Loom Weaving Workshop: For the Birds!, and Let’s Pretend! Theatre Games Camp I. Participants can also take part in the Intro to Improv Workshop and the Game of the Scene Improv Workshop, which focus on different aspects of improvisational theatre.

Since 1972, the Arts Center has presented programming of the highest caliber amidst the backdrop of the Adirondack Park. Arts Center Lake Placid programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. The revitalized Arts Center is described as modernized, accessible, and sustainable for the Adirondack community, with an intimate 355-seat theatre and two galleries that feature work from more than 100 visual artists.
