Summer Theater Camp includes singing, acting, and dancing as part of each day. Campers take classes in music appreciation and song analysis and join improv workshops. Each session is a day camp focused on theatrical skills required to produce a musical, and each session concludes with two public performances, with each camper receiving two complimentary tickets and a commemorative T-shirt.
• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Two 2025 day-camp sessions, Monday–Friday, 9:00AM–3:00PM
• Price: TUITION $400 Before May 1st; $450 After May 1st
The 2025 Summer Theater Camp offers two sessions: Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS for ages 7–12 from July 7–25, 2025, and CURTAINS: Young@Part® for ages 13–18 from July 28–August 15, 2025. Counselors for the program include Timmy Goodman, Rebecca Kroetsch, Maria Kreutinger, and Lisa Miller. Staff credentials include Timmy Goodman as an LOH choreographer and area dance instructor, and Rebecca Kroetsch as an LOH performer and music educator in Williamsville Schools. The Lancaster Opera House, built in 1897, states its mission as providing a venue for shared community involvement and producing and presenting quality entertainment opportunities for artists and patrons. It can serve the greater Western New York community through educational opportunities, partnerships with local arts organizations, and by providing a premier gathering place for a variety of social functions.
