Colonie Youth Center Programs and Services offers activities that include a Recreational Winter Basketball League, Kids Runs, a fitness class, and opportunities for learning to swim. The program also includes before-school childcare and after-school childcare as part of its services.

CYC was started in 1965. The mission of Colonie Youth Center, Inc. (CYC) is to provide programs and services to enhance the living experience of all people in the greater Capital Region. CYC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency. CYC’s offerings include CYC’s 22nd Annual Crossings 5K Challenge & Kids Runs and CYC’s “Slam Dunk” Recreational Winter Basketball League at the Ciccotti Center. CYC proudly serves more than 7000 members of all ages and from all Capital Region cities and towns. Stewart’s Shops has been a long-time supporter of CYC through the Stewart’s Holiday Match program, which donated $3,000 to the CYC Scholarship Fund, and the program is sponsored in part by Nemer Volkswagen. Dunkin’ franchisee Serouse Sharifpour, in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, made a $3,000 donation to CYC to celebrate the remodeling of the Latham Dunkin’.
