Colonie Youth Center Programs and Services includes activities such as a Recreational Winter Basketball League, fitness classes, swimming, the Crossings 5K Challenge & Kids Runs, and a drive-thru dinner service. The program also offers drive-thru dinners with adult and kid’s meal options.
• Schedule: Drive-thru dinner service from 4pm–6:30pm; office hours Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with office closures on holidays, during inclement weather, and when the North and South Colonie School Districts close

The mission of Colonie Youth Center, Inc. (CYC) is to provide programs and services to enhance the living experience of all people in the greater Capital Region. CYC provides childcare, recreation, education, and health and fitness services, and its childcare program serves students in North and South Colonie Elementary Schools and South Colonie Middle Schools. The Rudy A. Ciccotti Family Recreation Center is described as a multi-generational recreation and medical fitness facility that features two full-size gymnasiums, a suspended running track, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a modern aquatic complex. CYC has an administrative office and an additional North Colonie childcare site in a renovated building in Latham.
The Colonie Youth Center has been part of local families’ lives for 60 years and was started in 1965. CYC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency. Stewart’s Shops has been a long-time supporter of CYC through the Stewart’s Holiday Match program, which donated $3,000 to the CYC Scholarship Fund to assist lower income families with costs for before-school and after-school childcare. Dunkin’ franchisee Serouse Sharifpour, in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, made a $3,000 donation to CYC to celebrate the remodeling of the Latham Dunkin’. CYC serves more than 7,000 members of all ages from cities and towns across the Capital Region.
