American Black Belt Academy

American Black Belt Academy offers American Kenpo Karate, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Lights Out Boxing, After School Program, Summer Camp, and Day Camps. The Summer Camp and Day Camps are martial arts day camps with activities from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and camp tuition is $95 per day. The martial arts day camps are open to everyone, and no prior martial arts experience is required.

About the provider

American Black Belt Academy was founded in 1994 by Tom and Lorraine LoVarco. Head instructor Tom LoVarco is a 9th Degree Black Belt and the Vice President of the Worldwide Kenpo Karate Association. The school has been serving the Massapequa community since 1994. In 2006, United Professionals and Black Belt Schools of America ranked it one of the top 50 schools in the country, and each year since then the Worldwide Kenpo Karate Association has ranked it the number one American Kenpo Karate school in the United States.

Programs are available for children as young as 3 1/2 years old. Martial Arts day camps are open to everyone. No prior martial arts experience is required. Camp sizes are limited.
