About

New York State 4-H Youth Development Programs connects youth to hands-on learning in areas such as health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement. In these programs, kids and teens complete projects in these areas in a positive environment with guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles. Kids experience 4-H through in-school and after-school programs, school and community clubs, and 4-H camps, with enrollment completed through each county's Cooperative Extension Office.
