Camp Elyon offers a wide range of activities, including sports coaching, organized sports, leagues, swimming, boating, biking, zip line, and an adventure ropes course. Campers take part in daily main activities, daily arts and crafts, wood working and crafts, hikes, trips, special trips, amusement parks, water parks, go-karting, barbeques, weekly night activities and trips, special late nights, extra night activities, extra trips, extra sports, overnights, and a two day overnight. The program also includes a Masmidim Learning Program with a siyum.
• Ages: 5–13 years old
Camp Elyon states that its goal is to provide a positive environment full of “geshmake” within a “torahdike” atmosphere, with programs that it describes as a balance of “ruchniyus” and “gashmiyus.” The camp features “Geshmake, Professional Rabbeim” and “Devoted, Trained Bnei Torah Counselors,” and offers a warm and devoted rebbi all day for the youngest division. Additional features include cold water or iced tea available all day, an afternoon snack, and kriah review with innovative activities and games. The Masmidim Learning Program with siyum, extra geshmake learning in the morning for Elyon Extreme, and options such as CIT Extreme—where participants join junior staff in the afternoon and get paid—are also part of the program, along with positions listed as rebbe, counselor, JC, CIT, photographer, videographer, and maintenance.
