Moonlight Day Camp includes activities such as sports, chinuch, swimming, arts-and-crafts, sports clinics, hip hop, music, Olympics, Color War, night activities, carnivals, and petting zoos. The camp also offers an Oneg hour every Shabbat with games, stories, learning, and snacks.
• Ages: 2–8 years old
• Schedule: Weekday hours are 10am–5pm (3pm on Fridays), with a shortened day for 2-year-olds; sessions run June 29–August 20 with Full Summer, Single Session, Weekly, and Daily rate options, and final dates subject to change
• Price: Registration fee $50 (applied to tuition); tuition before deadline is Full Summer $1,350, Single Session $750, Weekly rate $200, Daily rate $55 (not available to lower camp); Early Bird Discount offers a $50 credit per child per summer if paid in full before June 1; every owner in Moonlight pays a separate $400 day camp assessment as part of maintenance, which may be deducted proportionally from maintenance if certain enrollment and payment conditions are met; camp fees are not refundable
Moonlight Day Camp serves the Modern Orthodox residents of Moonlight Cottages and neighboring towns and bungalow colonies, and local campers from outside of Moonlight are welcome. On-campus programming includes sports, chinuch, swimming, arts-and-crafts, carnivals, petting zoos, and other activities, and the camp is described as having great programs, a warm caring staff, and parent volunteers. Day Camp is on schedule for 2026. Moonlight Cottages, where the camp operates, was started in the mid 1950s by Jeno and Fanny Berger, and later developed as a cooperative colony with 67 housing units after changes in ownership and development in 1981 and 1983. Vehicles are not allowed to drive through the main showcase, and children are able to roam and explore 88.7 acres.
