Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon Programs

Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon Programs include activities such as Cheerleading, Karate, Nightflight, and Dance. The Club provides a safe, enjoyable, and educational place for children to spend their time after school. Special Programs classes are offered at the Boys & Girls Club by independent organizations, and membership in the Boys & Girls Club is required to participate in these Special Programs, with any additional fees paid directly to the provider of the classes.

• Ages: 6–18 years old

Teen members engage in a wide range of educational and recreational activities. Summer campers have the opportunity to expand their horizons, embark on new adventures, and have fun. The Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon admits children ages 6–18 of any religion, race, color, national or ethnic origin to all privileges, programs, and activities.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon is to enable all young people, especially those who need the Club most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The leadership team includes Melvin Campos, Chief Executive Officer. The organization notes community involvement by thanking and appreciating generous sponsors who support the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon. The Club’s Dream Chasers received BGCA's national award for community outreach. If someone is in the Mount Vernon area, they can stop by to take a tour of the facility and see kids and instructors in action.
