Roseland School of Dance offers Dance with Me, Sing and Dance, Pre-Dance Class, Tiny Tumblers, Tumbling, Dance/Jam Program, Dance 1 and 2, Dance 3, Jam Class, Cheer Dance, Ballet, and Tap. Classes include marching, jumping, clapping, tapping, tap and ballet, creative movement, basic acrobatics, hip hop, tumbling, jumps, stunts, pom dances, barre work, floor exercise, and dance combinations.
Programs
- Dance with Me — 1 Year · Youngest friends enjoy engaging in play and fun activities with a favorite adult; lots of fun with props and great music.
- Sing and Dance — 2 Years · Toddlers learn basic dance skills with marching, jumping, clapping and tapping while making friends and listening to favorite songs.
- Pre-Dance Class — 3-4 Years · Pre-schoolers work on coordination and motor skills; tap, ballet and creative movement are introduced.
- Tiny Tumblers — 3-5 Years · Introduction to basic acrobatics that helps build strength, flexibility and coordination.
- Tumbling — 5 Years and Up · Basic skills in acrobatic tricks along with exercises that build strength and flexibility.
- Dance/Jam Program — Exciting Dance and Jam classes designed to get students excited and eager to come to dance.
- Dance 1 and 2 — 5-6 Years · Core lessons of dance with ballet for strength and posture, tap for rhythm and timing, and jazz stretches.
- Dance 3 — 7-8 Years · Ballet, tap and jazz program combining multiple dance styles.
- Jam Class — 5-8 Years · Students enjoy hip hop and tumbling while learning freestyle dance moves and tumbling tricks.
- Cheer Dance — 5-8 Years · Foundation in tumbling, jumps, stunts and pom dances with a focus on strength, trust and teamwork.
- Ballet — Classical ballet methods with barre work, floor exercise and combinations.
- Tap — Classic dance focused on different rhythms mastered with the feet.

Roseland School of Dance says it has been bringing the art of dance to communities for over 45 years, and the About page says it has over 40 years of teaching dance on Long Island. The school says its students should WIN FROM WITHIN and that dance should always be fun and always make you happy. It also helps local Girl Scout Troops earn their Dance Badge, visits preschools and daycares for free with Music & Movement Classes for Little Ones, participates in local events, and contributes to charitable causes.
Each studio is individually owned and operated under Roseland School of Dance philosophies and standards. Classes start at 12 months / 1 year and continue through adults. The school offers beginner through advanced levels in Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Tumbling.
