Roseland School of Dance

Roseland School of Dance offers classes in Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tumbling. The program also includes toddler and preschool dance classes, Kindergarten classes, classes for tweens and teens, adult classes, and Music & Movement Classes for Little Ones. Students can take beginner through advanced levels in Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tumbling.

Roseland School of Dance has been bringing the art of dance to its communities for over 45 years and celebrates over 40 years of teaching dance on Long Island. Its mission states that classes encourage students to “WIN FROM WITHIN,” that dance is an expression to music and all expressions are described as beautiful, and that dance should always be fun and make students happy, while providing them with an excellent dance education. Each dance school is individually owned and operated under Roseland School of Dance philosophies and standards, and dancers are considered part of the Roseland Family. Classes start at 12 months of age and continue through adults, and each year students are offered the chance to perform in a professionally produced recital.

Roseland School of Dance offers a Student Teaching Program, and many teachers across Long Island have been trained through this program. The organization notes that each dance school is individually owned, which it states allows for personal attention to Roseland students and parents, and it offers opportunities to own a Roseland School of Dance. Roseland School of Dance helps local Girl Scout troops earn a Dance Badge, visits preschools and daycares for free with its Music & Movement Classes for Little Ones, participates in local events, and contributes to charitable causes connected to the communities it serves.
