Smithtown Ninja Academy offers kids classes, adult classes, summer camp and summer programs, summer classes, birthday parties, private lessons, field trips, corporate outings, and adult/kids drop-in options. Participants can do obstacle course training, American Ninja Warrior style obstacle training, ninja warrior training, indoor games, arts and crafts, and in-house field trips, and some athletes take advanced one-on-one classes, including WNL – Tier 1 – Challenge, WNL – Tier 2 – Full, and WNL – Tier 1 – Skills.

Owner Kathryn Gawrych leads Smithtown Ninja Academy and holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Hartford. The program emphasizes discipline, focus, and behavioral development to foster kids’ growth and self-improvement. Many staff and students have been Ninja Warrior competitors, and many young students have competed on American Ninja Warrior Junior, with professional ninja staff teaching camp programs. The academy features unique obstacles and courses, including obstacles that reflect those seen on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior, unique obstacles that rotate regularly, and the only 18-foot wall on the island. Smithtown Ninja Academy has been featured on Newsday and News12. Parents and caregivers describe the facility as big, cavernous, fresh, brand new, and extremely clean, with a variety of apparatuses and many obstacles, and they frequently mention that staff are professional, patient, enthusiastic, and attentive to each child’s skill level.
