Camp Wiltmeet is led by the Youth Development Director, Katie Giordano. Camp groups are divided by school grade level and include Leader in Training (entering 10th grade) and Counselor in Training (entering 11th grade) programs, and LITs and CITs are required to apply to participate. The Counselor in Training program aims to provide leadership opportunities for aspiring camp counselors and teach basic job skills. Each session, CITs are assigned a counselor and camper group to work with, assist in the daily operations of the camp day, and have daily social periods with their peers. A scholarship award for Camps Seewackamano and Wiltmeet may be used toward one full, two-week session of camp per child. During registration, families are asked to share the child’s immunization history and general medical history, and per Department of Health requirements the camp collects camper and staff immunization records annually.
