Kaufman Music Center International Youth Piano Competition

Kaufman Music Center – Lucy Moses School & Special Music School Programs includes Lucy Moses School, which offers music, dance and theater classes and lessons for all ages. It also includes Special Music School (M 859), a K-12 public school with a unique and intensive music program that has a Kindergarten–8th Grade program and a High School program. Merkin Hall is described as an intimate performance venue with unparalleled access to today’s most compelling artists and is part of the Kaufman Music Center programs.

Kaufman Music Center states that its mission is that music education is not an extra, but is education and belongs at the center of every child’s life. Kaufman Music Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its leadership includes Anthony Mazzocchi as Executive Director and Tony Mazzocchi as President & CEO, with press inquiries directed to Dianna Mesion-Jackson and Joan Jastrebski. Kaufman Music Center is featured in ABC7’s Emmy-winning “Protect Our Children” special, which highlights mentorship, advocacy and access for young people across New York.
