Manhattan Youth After-School Programs include swimming lessons, BPC ballfield sports instruction, arts, science fun, sports, music, family swim, lap swim, and open play. The program also offers Family Swim and Lap Swim as part of membership at the Center, along with swim lessons for all ages. Family Membership at the Community Center includes family swim, open play, sports, and music.

Manhattan Youth is celebrating 32 years of caring for children, families, and the Lower Manhattan community. Its mission is to provide childcare, academic, recreational, and cultural activities to individuals and families in Manhattan and beyond. The organization notes support from donors, sponsors, and governmental partners who partner with it to offer community programming. The leadership team for after-school and related programs includes Moises Cordero (Director of Elementary After-School Programs), Brittany Mejia (Director of Middle School After-School Programs), Blake Ruiz (Assistant Director Billing, Registration and Customer Care Community Center), and Johanny Hernandez (Recruiting Manager). Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is open for most schools, and the program accepts rolling registration throughout the year. Downtown Day Camp for K–8th grades includes swimming lessons, BPC ballfield sports instruction, arts, and science fun. Brittany Mejia has worked in youth development in the Downtown Manhattan community since age fifteen, holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering, and has served in several roles at Manhattan Youth since 2015 before becoming an Education Director.
