Manhattan Youth After-School Programs include activities such as swim lessons, Family Swim, Lap Swim, BPC ballfield sports instruction, arts, science fun, open play, sports, and music. The pool offers swimming lessons for all ages, and Family Swim and Lap Swim are available as part of membership at the Center. A Family Membership at the Community Center includes family swim, open play, sports, and music.

Manhattan Youth offers after-school programs in schools and at the Downtown Community Center, with rolling registration for aquatics throughout the year. Downtown Day Camp for K–8th grades includes swimming lessons, BPC ballfield sports instruction, arts, and science fun. Manhattan Youth is celebrating 32 years of caring for children, families, and the Lower Manhattan community. The leadership team for these programs includes Moises Cordero, Director of Elementary After-School Programs, and Brittany Mejia, Director of Middle School After-School Programs, who obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biomedical Engineering, along with Blake Ruiz, Assistant Director Billing, Registration and Customer Care Community Center, and Johanny Hernandez, Recruiting Manager. Manhattan Youth’s mission is to provide childcare, academic, recreational, and cultural activities to individuals and families in Manhattan and beyond, and its community involvement includes Manhattan Youth Gives Back and partnerships with donors, sponsors, and governmental partners to offer community programming for kids, families, seniors, and more.
