Capital Kids Care offers year-round school-aged childcare programs that include before and afterschool care, care during school holidays and breaks, and 10 weeks of summer camp. The program uses a dynamic and creative curriculum that is tailored to the families it serves and focuses on programming that supports friendship development and an environment where lifelong friendships can develop and flourish.

Capital Kids Care was founded on the idea that all kids deserve a place they can just be kids, with an environment that nurtures kids to be themselves, to learn, to explore, and to grow. Its programming, from after care to summer camp and other offerings, is designed to engage kids and foster friendships, with highly engaging programming focused on friendship development and a dynamic curriculum tailored to the families served.
The leadership team includes Katie Brownell (also known as Brownie) and Kyle Wright. Katie attended the University of Central Florida where she received a BA in Elementary Education. Kyle joined the summer camp crew in 2014 and has coached for the local club team FC Dutchmen based in Albany, NY.
