D.O.C.A. Youth Activities and Summer Programs includes the School 2 and 8 Summer Playground programs and the School 6 Early Childhood Summer Playground programs for 4 and 5 year olds. It also includes HARD 2 GUARD - Summer 2026 and the C.A.R.E.S. program with specific registration timelines. First-time registrants who require a log-in and password must call the DOCA office at (516) 594-2336 for assistance, and families may log in to WebTrac and set up an account before registration day.
• Schedule: The School 2 and 8 Summer Playground 9:00am to 2:00pm and Extended Hours 8:00am to 4:00pm programs are at full capacity.
The School 6 Early Childhood Summer Playground programs for 4 and 5 year olds remain available for registration in person only. HARD 2 GUARD - Summer 2026 registration begins Monday, March 16 at 9:00am online and in person by appointment only at the DOCA office. C.A.R.E.S. registration open enrollment for 2026/2027 begins Tuesday, August 4th at 9:00am. In order to start C.A.R.E.S. on the first day of school, families must register by Sunday, August 23rd. If registration for C.A.R.E.S. takes place between August 24th and September 1st, the child can start C.A.R.E.S. on Thursday, September 3rd. After September 1st, the C.A.R.E.S. program start date must always be at least two school days after registration is accepted.
