Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts offers programs where girls explore their passions, develop hands-on skills, and discover tools they need to lead on their own terms. Through programs from coast to coast and overseas, girls of all backgrounds and abilities participate together and create their own paths. Challenges for Girl Scouts take place in settings such as science labs, hiking trails, cookie booths, and in front of city councils.

Girl Scouts states that girls discover who they are, tap into the power inside them, and build the confidence to let it shine. Girl Scouts of the United States of America is described as a 501(c)(3) organization. The organization offers free activities for girls and families to support mental well-being under the theme “Feel Your Feelings!” The Girl Scout Experience Box is available for new Daisy or Brownie (K–3) troops and includes troop supplies delivered to the troop’s door. Girl Scouts offers new Leadership Awards. Official Girl Scout gear, including uniforms and merchandise, is available through the Girl Scout Shop, and there is a Girl Scout Central store located at 420 Fifth Avenue in New York City.
