Cortland Bible Camp offers summer camps for children and year-round retreats. The program also hosts teacher training that uses the In Step With the Master Teacher curriculum.

Cortland Bible Camp has offered summer camps for children and year-round retreats for over 50 years. In 1968, a group involved in weekly Bible Club ministry across Cortland County purchased the Pitcher property and converted farm buildings for camp use for operation that first summer. The camp is a ministry of BCM International (Bible Centered Ministries) and is owned and operated by BCM International.
The mission of Cortland Bible Camp is three-fold: Evangelism, Growth, and Service. Staff and volunteers use Scripture, relationships, and creative programming to guide children and young adults along their spiritual journey. The mission states that the camping atmosphere at Cortland Bible Camp is an exciting way to help complete this mission, and that the programming and facilities are intended to enable individuals to get away from life’s distractions and focus on God.
Cortland Bible Camp is available to encourage and equip members of local fellowships through teacher training using the In Step With the Master Teacher curriculum. When the camp is not in use, it is open for groups to host their own retreat.
The Director is Trevor O’Gorman. Trevor received a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and entered the sports industry testing sports equipment. Megan went to nursing school, graduated in 2018, and works as a Nurse Sonographer with Finger Lakes Pregnancy Centers.
One testimonial from Dave Grey of Baldwinsville Christian Academy states, “We have been there in every season, and Cortland Bible Camp never fails to deliver a great experience. The facilities are spacious and the staff is incredibly accommodating.” Parent Stephanie Baldwin shares, “Our whole family has been touched by the genuine hospitality by the staff at CBC. The small and personal environment allows them to learn the heart of each camper while helping navigate through some of the hard but necessary topics kids are working through and always pointing them back to Jesus.” Pastor Andy Smith from Emmanuel Baptist Church says, “My daughter is making plans to attend Cortland Bible camp each week this summer!”
