The Art Effect Youth Programs

The Art Effect Youth Programs offers Arts Camp, Summer Art Institute, Media/Art/Design Lab, and Spark Studios. The program has youth program branches called Explore, Experience, and Excel, with Explore for ages 4-11, Experience for ages 11-18, and Excel for ages 14-24.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• General schedule: The Art Effect provides youth with a comprehensive core program sequence. Programs are arranged into three overlapping branches: Explore, Experience, and Excel. Explore is for ages 4-11. Experience is for ages 11-18. Excel is for ages 14-24. The Art Effect facilitates educational programming, community building and youth leadership at two locations within Poughkeepsie; Pershing Studios at 45 Pershing Ave. and the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory at 8 N. Cherry St.
