Brighton Junior Bruins offers football, flag football, and cheerleading for kids. The program includes options for both boys and girls to take part in football and cheerleading activities.

In 2008, youth football and cheerleading returned to Brighton for the first time in more than 20 years through this program. Coaches bring years of experience to the field. The stated goal is to teach the fundamentals of each sport, promote sportsmanship and teamwork, while encouraging each child's personal development. Brighton Junior Bruins is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization. It is a member of Rochester Youth Football & Cheerleading (RYFC), an independent youth football and cheerleading league based in the Greater Rochester, NY area.
