BayCreek PaddleSports Camp

BayCreek PaddleSports Camp is connected with BayCreek’s PaddleSports Camp and offers activities that include canoe rentals, kayak rentals, and stand up paddleboard rentals. Campers can take part in a guided nature tour of the “Secret Wilderness,” a shuttle trip to Ellison Park for a one-way paddle through the wetlands, and the Wednesday Nite Race Party. Additional paddling options at BayCreek include Lake Ontario Downwind runs in stand up paddleboard or surf ski, open water skills and sea kayak surfing in Rough Riders Masters’ Programs, and classes in canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

• Schedule: BayCreek’s business hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; Thursday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm; Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Memorial Day (05/25/2026) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

BayCreek states that it is a true paddling center staffed by passionate paddlers and that it offers many activities to get people out on the water. It offers canoe, kayak, and paddleboard sales, rentals, and lessons, and notes that “Every Day is Demo Day at BayCreek.” BayCreek also states that Rochester’s “Secret Wilderness” or Irondequoit Bay can be explored in a rented canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. BayCreek specifies that rentals end 1½ hours before closing and that all equipment must be returned by closing.
