ZooCamp takes place at Seneca Park Zoo and is run by the same organization that operates the Zoo. The program is connected to the Zoo’s broader conservation work, which is described as the largest and most impactful conservation organization in the region. Seneca Park Zoo is open all year long and is a smoke-free facility, and Zoo members can enter starting at 9:30 a.m. during fall hours, with general fall hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and last entry at 3 p.m.

• Schedule: Open 362 days a year; closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day

ZooCamp is part of a nonprofit organization, as the Seneca Park Zoo Society is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. The Zoo’s leadership team includes roles such as President and CEO, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer / Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Director of Education and Visitor Studies, Director of Programming and Conservation Action, Superintendent of Seneca Park Zoo, General Curator, Assistant Zoo Director – Facilities, Zoo Veterinarian, and Veterinary Technician/Registrar, among many others. Seneca Park Zoo runs many programs to inspire the community to take action for wildlife and wild places, including efforts such as cleanup events and workforce development.
