The Growing Tree Nursery School offers a Vacation Program and a variety of daily program options in its classrooms. The program includes Full-Day, Mini Day, and Tiny Day schedules for different age groups, with diapers welcome. Families may choose 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week, and the school is now enrolling for the 2026–2027 school year with limited spots available.
• Ages: 3 months–5 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with options including early drop-off from 7:00 am–8:00 am, Full-Day from 8:00 am–6:00 pm, and various Mini Day and Tiny Day morning schedules
Family owned and operated since 1979, The Growing Tree Nursery School was founded by Mrs. Joanne Miller in 1979. Today, her daughter, Dawn Friedman, is the Owner/Director, and her grandchildren are current students. The Growing Tree is a non-sectarian nursery school that supports both children and families and states that it helps children discover themselves, build confidence, and develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills in a safe, nurturing, and creative environment. All head teachers hold New York State certification in Early Childhood Education, and many have specialties in art, music, foreign language, or technology. Families can schedule a personal tour to see the classrooms, meet teachers, and experience the described nurturing environment.
