About
The Green School Camp on the Farm includes feeding, cleaning, grooming, and riding farm animals, along with pony camp lessons and riding on trails. Campers take part in growing and learning in organic gardens, as well as science projects, nature projects, art, composting, and recycling. Small groups of about 5–6 campers are with each staff member, and campers are expected to be potty trained, with drop-ins allowed in the afternoon.
• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: Summer Camp 2026 runs June 15 to August 28 with Farm & Pony Camp for ages 3–8 and Farm Apprentice for ages 9–12, offering Monday–Friday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and Tuesday/Thursday options in the morning and afternoon.
• Price: Pricing: For your convenience, all tuition rates include gratuity for our staff.
The Green School was started in 2008. Its mission is to teach care for the planet, its resources, each other, bodies, animals and plants, and to find ways to give back. The program describes a focus on the Human Animal Connection, hands-on animal experience, and nurturing independence, creativity, and consideration. Clients describe the setting as “out of a Fairy Tale” with “animals and children running around together on the farm grounds” and call it “Magical” and “the best kept secret in the Hamptons.” The program notes “Paying It Forward” as part of its community involvement.
