Camp Turner offers activities such as horseback rides, hikes, archery, crafts, arts and crafts, nature study, campfires, creek-walking, GaGa ball, 9-Square, fishing, drama, Zumba, digital photography, high-ropes adventures, backpacking, and off-site outings. Daily camp life also includes Morning Prayer, the Pledge, Flag Raising, Lunch, Siesta, Flag Lowering, Supper/Canteen, an Evening Activity, and Vespers as part of the program structure.

• Schedule: A typical day runs from 7:45 a.m. Morning Prayer, Pledge, and Flag Raising through 9:00 p.m. preparation for bed, with meals and four activity periods scheduled throughout the day.
For more than 100 years, Camp Turner has operated in Allegany State Park. The program welcomes campers of all faiths and states a focus on community living skills, self-care skills, interpersonal skills, values, and spirituality, with a stated reverence for the presence of God in every person, place, and thing.
