Mini Monet Art Studio

Mini Monet Art Studio offers activities such as ceramic painting, drawing, painting, sculpting, and printmaking. Children can paint from a wide selection of ceramics, wood cutouts, wood dollhouse and furniture, and other wood crafts. The studio also hosts birthday parties, classes, clubs, workshops, school break workshops, camps, and Paint Nights.

• Schedule: Spring and winter hours are Friday 11–5, Saturday 11–5, and Sunday 11–4, with the last sitting for ceramic painting 45 minutes before closing. Class options include 6 week class sessions.

Mini Monet Art Studio states that its philosophy is to encourage students to express themselves freely through visual art while helping them develop their fine artwork through a variety of mediums and techniques. The studio teaches the fundamentals of drawing and painting, fosters an appreciation of art and artists, and allows for creative expression. It states that students do not create cookie-cutter art or copy paintings from books, and that they are taught how to see the world around them and apply their learning to their work. Classes are organized by age rather than skill level so that each person is able to reach his or her full potential.

The studio generally follows the Sayville School District calendar and does its best to be open on days when school is not in session. It offers Open Studio for ceramics and wood cutouts, along with a retail gift shop that includes arts and craft kits, art supplies, jewelry, artwork, and more. Digital gift cards must have the number printed or visible with any QR code to be redeemed in store, and all gift cards issued prior to January 2023 must be redeemed before September 1, 2024.
