Summer Skate Camp takes place at United Skates of America, which is celebrating 50 years of bringing families and friends together on the rink. The rink is described as clean, fun, friendly, and safe, with a fully stocked Roller Cafe, state-of-the-art sound systems, live DJs, a huge arcade with a prize counter, a smooth rink in the center, plenty of seating, colorful murals, and a cafe featuring pizza, soda, nachos, and pretzels. The organization also offers a skate school for practice for all ages and specially designed STEM Field Trips with lesson plans that follow Next Generation and state-level curriculum standards. Its mission is to make dreams come true by providing an environment for people of all ages, organizations, schools, clubs, and groups to have parties for many types of events, and it runs rinks in 12 states from California to New York. Community involvement includes fundraisers for schools and groups, STEM Field Trips, Fun Field Trips, group packages, scouts, corporate events, and city partnerships that transform underused spaces into skating centers, with the organization partnering with cities by managing planning, construction, and daily operations of skating centers. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE, admission is not guaranteed without advanced tickets, and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
