Quinipet Camp & Retreat Center is a Christian camp owned and operated by the New York Conference of The United Methodist Church and has been owned and operated since 1947. The camp is spiritually and physically grounded upon the five rocks of Courage, Love, Faith, Humility and Honesty. Each day begins and ends with chapel and vesper services, and a Spiritual Life Coordinator offers times to gather with campers who want to learn more about spirituality. The mission states that God gave earth and humankind, and that loving faithful Christians are to love and care for each of these, and that the hope is that each camper will grow in new experiences and in their spiritual walk with God. The mission also states that Quinipet is a community that is open and affirming to all who come, regardless of religious affiliation.

The camp emphasizes that it is outside for a reason and highlights connection to creation, including seeding and growing plants for pollinators and reducing and replacing lawns with native grasses. Quinipet Camp & Retreat Center offers summer camp, overnight camp, day camp, retreats, pastoral retreats, weddings, and outdoor education. The leadership team includes Brooke Bradley as Executive Director, AJ Nitsch as Property Manager, Reggie Johnson as Food Service Manager, Shauna D'Arcy as Program Director, and Vernessa Kingsbury as Retreat and Outreach Coordinator. Quinipet is licensed by the New York State Department of Health. The New York Conference Camping & Retreat Ministry Board of Directors shares an inclusivity statement welcoming and fully accepting all persons identifying as LGBTQIA+ into the life, ministry, and activities of the camp. 2026 camp registration is open, and open house dates are listed as Saturday, February 21; Saturday, March 21; and Saturday, April 11 from 2:00–4:00 PM.
