About
Lourdes Camp offers activities such as arts and crafts, sailing, canoeing, pontoon boat rides, archery, hiking, soccer, basketball, recreational sports, volleyball, swimming, and a ropes and challenge course. The ropes and challenge course is available for an additional fee for campers who are 11 years old and up. Campers stay in one of 20 cabins, which hold between 10 and 16 campers with two counselors per cabin, and campers are placed in cabins by age.
• Ages: 7–15 years old
• Schedule: CITs attend for two weeks total, during Week 2 (July 12–17) and Week 5 (August 2–7), and attendance for the entirety of these weeks is mandatory
• Price: Overnight Camp $700; Day Camp $430
The Day Camp program is available for children ages 7 to 11 and includes two free times each day when day campers can play and interact with overnight campers. Daily lunch is provided for campers, and a list of expected meals is given before a camper attends. The CIT program is open to 15-year-olds who are interested in experiencing what it is like to be a staff member at Lourdes Camp.
Lourdes Camp has a Campership Program that offers tuition assistance for both Overnight and Day Camp to children whose family financial situation might otherwise prevent them from attending. The Campership Program is funded by alumni, parents of current campers, and corporate gifts from people in the community and beyond. The Susan Delmonico Ross Scholarship honors a 75-year legacy of dedication that began in 1948 and covers a camper’s week of camp, including the ropes course if applicable, along with VIP bunk setup, a shopping trip to the Lourdes Camp Store for Lourdes Camp merchandise, and additional surprises. This scholarship is available to any camper ages 7–14, regardless of enrollment status, past camp experience, or background. Greg Vaga is the Camp Director.
