Ivy League School & Day Camp

Ivy League School & Day Camp offers a school and day camp program where children explore the sciences, receive individualized academic attention, and take part in performing and creative arts programs. Campers at Ivy League School & Day Camp also experience activities such as a dual-zipline and off-campus days for older boys and girls. Some campers, like Angelina, begin as Mini campers learning to swim and may later join the travel program.

Since 1961, Ivy League has been a private school. Its stated mission is to support and encourage a child’s lively intellect, promote independence and self-confidence, foster social competency, and inspire a love of learning.

The leadership team includes owners and Camp Directors Margaret Velez-Cooper and Noah Cooper, who are also listed as the owners of Ivy League. Additional leadership roles include Principal Ismael Colón, Director of Teaching and Learning Dot Woo, Camp Director Meredith Stern, and Day Care Director Denise Daniels. The main office contact is listed as Rebecca Woltmann, and billing is handled by Mike. Margaret and Noah Cooper reside on the grounds year-round. The program also notes that an Ivy League camper named Nicholas uses the dual-zipline, and that Angelina, now in the travel program, currently has four top 10 nationally ranked times for her age.
