Wayne County Community Schools Out-Of-School Opportunities uses the Community Schools framework to support youth both inside and outside of school across Wayne County. The program includes the STEADY Work Program, which offers paid work opportunities and job skill training for youth ages 14–24. It also includes services from the Family & Community Engagement team, Community School Coordinators, the Optimal Health Initiative, and the Basic Needs Program.
