Day Camp in the Park offers activities such as swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, and exploring Lake Tiorati. Campers take part in an inflatable waterpark with slides, obstacle courses, and a water trampoline, as well as swimming in an in-ground heated pool and by the basins of waterfalls. The program also includes STEM activities, athletics like tennis, soccer, basketball, gymnastics, martial arts, and gagaball, along with arts and crafts, ceramics, theater, music, dance, a climbing wall, and crafts made from nature.

• Ages: 4–15 years old
• Schedule: Door-to-door transportation in air-conditioned minibuses Monday through Friday.
• Price: A hot lunch program is available at a small fee, and the camp has competitive pricing compared to other premium day camps.

Day Camp in the Park includes a Nature program with hiking, collection of frogs and turtles, and campfire building skills, as well as special events such as a camp carnival, Campfire S’mores Fridays, Costume Day, and a camp play. The program offers Daily Swim Instruction provided by certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. A Nursery Program is available for four- and five-year-old campers entering Pre-K and Kindergarten with one counselor per two children, and a C.I.T. Program is geared for teenagers entering 9th and 10th grade who want to work in camp in the future. The staff includes an experienced team of full-time teachers, camp professionals, and certified teachers running each group, and the mission states that this staff is dedicated to creating a safe and exciting environment for all campers to thrive. Day Camp in the Park has been providing summer fun for kids for nearly 50 years and has been honored nationally by the American Camp Association with the Pioneer In Camping Award and the Special Recognition Award, and it created the first Master’s program in Camp Leadership & Administration for Camp Directors for the American Camp Association.
