SchoolNova at Stony Brook offers mathematics, sciences, languages, art, Pre-K enrichment, and online classes for pre-K through 12th grade. About the provider

SchoolNova began in 2002 and officially launched under the SchoolPlus network in September 2004. Marina Polonskaia is named as the Principal. The program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It says students take part in national and international competitions in mathematics, physics, and humanities and earn top awards. Many senior students become Teaching Assistants.

No entrance test is required. A math placement test will be suggested after enrollment. There are no entrance exams to join the program. Students are placed in ability-based groupings. Tuition is reviewed annually. There is no tuition increase for the 2026-2027 school year.
