Girls Inc. at YWCA and YWCA Youth Soccer support youth through career and college exploration, leadership development, physical and mental wellness, and character development. Girls Inc. at YWCA uses research-based, informal education programs that include physical activities in its curriculum. YWCA Youth Soccer offers free, high-quality soccer programs with both non-competitive and competitive options.

The YWCA of Syracuse & Onondaga County, Inc. was founded in 1885 as a member of the national YWCA, and the local association was founded in 1892. Its mission is to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The organization provides direct services, empowerment programming, and advocacy to support marginalized individuals and families, especially women and girls of color, while working to challenge structural barriers to equity in the city of Syracuse and Onondaga County. The YWCA of Syracuse & Onondaga County, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, led by Executive Director & CEO Fanny Villarreal, Deputy Executive Director Wenona Timmons, and Chief Development Officer Caitlyn Copfer.
