About
KidStrong is a kids training program that includes science-based fitness games, obstacle courses, tug of war, tire flips, puzzles, games, mental challenges, warm-ups, and skill development. Classes follow structured blocks that include Affirmation, Social Greeting, Foundations, Milestone, Move & Learn, Performance, Competition, and an Award Ceremony. Parents join class on the floor with kids under 4 years old in this parent-focused program with clean, modern centers and connected families with parents brought into the action.
• Ages: 1–11 years old
• Schedule: Membership includes one 45-minute class per week; each class is 45 minutes.
KidStrong’s curriculum is science-based and focuses on three pillars: Character, Physical, and Cognitive, following a Whole Child Philosophy with Strong Character, Strong Body, and Strong Mind. The program is guided by experts, child development scientists, and coaches, and is designed by child development experts to improve emotional, physical, and mental skills. All coaches are certified, professional, specially trained, and described as compassionate leaders. KidStrong offers camps, and some centers run KidStrong Academy. KidStrong does not provide medical services, does not accept insurance, and cannot guarantee that a child will learn how to fly.
KidStrong was founded in 2015, and the original business plan was written on a tablecloth at Ted's Montana Grill in Lexington, KY. There are now more than 160 locations serving more than 65,000 kids per week, and KidStrong celebrated its 100th center opening with franchisee Barb Volk in Plantation, Florida. The leadership team includes founders Matt and Megin Sharp; Morgan Johnson, Sr. Manager of Training & Certification; Ramon Williams, Senior Programming Specialist; Randy Nguyen, Programming Specialist; Patti Eubanks, Preschool & Kindergarten Director; Patrick Ford, Doctor of Physical Therapy; and Dr. Julie Foucher, MD, Family Physician and 4-time CrossFit Games competitor. ©2015–2026 by KidStrong. ©2026 KidStrong. Parent testimonials describe kids learning how to participate, listen, be good teammates, and practice patience. Several parents report their children becoming less shy or anxious and more willing to join activities after attending KidStrong weekly. One parent notes that their child with a speech delay became motivated by the environment and began putting effort into learning words and daily skills like cooking and cleaning. Multiple parents mention that KidStrong is a favorite weekly activity for their families and that they recommend the program to others.
