Academic Explorers has provided child care for Long Island families since 2017. It was founded by Danielle Paige, an experienced early childhood educator, who partnered with her father, Rodney Paige, to expand child care services across Long Island. Each center offers developmentally appropriate classrooms, experienced teachers, and The Creative Curriculum, a research-based approach that fosters curiosity, creativity, and confidence, with curriculum implementation overseen by a certified teacher licensed by New York State to ensure alignment with state standards and best practices in early childhood education. The program states a mission of partnering with families and the community to learn with, love, and lead children to higher education and a brighter future.

One parent from Roosevelt shared that their child needed to get accustomed to sharing and interacting with other children and that in this program they were able to find the help their child needed. A parent from Merrick described the staff as very understanding of the needs of each individual child and stated that they consider the child care center to be “5 star.” A parent from Uniondale reported that since starting at 1 year old, their child progressed from diapers to being potty trained, learned to count in English and Spanish, and began using sign language.
