Camp Barrett is a completely outdoor six week summer camp that includes outdoor games, arts and crafts, dance, music, playground time, an obstacle course, sprinkler fun, center time, imaginative play, and special Spirit Days. The program also offers Bounce House Wednesdays, Color War, Carnival Day, an annual Camp Scavenger Hunt, Shaving Cream Wars, and off-campus activities such as mini golf, bowling, visiting Adventureland, attending a movie, roller skating, and visiting the L.I. Aquarium.

• Schedule: Six-week summer camp with full day and half day options
Camp Barrett offers full day hours from 9am–3pm and half day hours from 9am–12 noon, with optional morning care add-ons starting at 8am or 8:30am. Afternoon clubs are available for campers entering 2nd through 7th grade in the full day program. The camp is divided into seven divisions, each overseen by experienced Division Supervisors, and campers receive personalized attention from experienced instructors, counselors, and activity specialists.
Purple Division campers spend time both as campers and as Camp Buddies, and field trips are included in the Purple Division’s tuition. CITs (Counselors in Training) are a volunteer division that helps on campus with facilitating camp programs while learning foundational workplace skills in a supportive structured work environment. Campers are issued one t-shirt included in their tuition to be worn on off-campus field trips.

The camp calendar includes special events such as Color War, Carnival Day, the annual Camp Scavenger Hunt, Shaving Cream Wars, and additional special surprises. The summer program is tailored to ensure each camper gets the most out of summer and experiences everything camp has to offer, and Camp Barrett states that it prides itself on providing a summer experience that campers will never forget.
Enrollment for Summer 2026 is open, with installment plan due dates on November 15th 2025, December 15th 2025, January 15th 2026, and February 15th 2026. Any application submitted after February 1st 2026 must pay tuition in full. The Camp Office is open Monday through Friday from 8am–3:30pm during camp season, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am–2pm from October through December 2025.
