About
Watertown Family YMCA Youth Programs include childcare, sports, camps, leadership opportunities, and teen programs. Children and adults take part in soccer programs and leagues, recreational and team gymnastics, swim lessons and competitive swim, basketball, pickleball, racquetball/handball, tennis, and group exercise classes offered live and virtually. The programs also include after school child care, preschool, day camps, fitness programs, wellness resources, volunteerism, outreach programs, and community partnerships, as well as events such as Healthy Kids Day, the Carthage Elks Annual Charity Golf Tournament, and Welcoming Week.

The organization is described as a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community by empowering young people, improving the health and well-being of people of all ages, and inspiring action in and across communities, and is noted as a vital community resource that brings people together, bridges gaps, meets local needs, and creates opportunities for youth, adults, and seniors. Healthy Kids Day is a national initiative focused on encouraging kids and families to stay active, make healthy choices, and build stronger connections within the community, and Welcoming Week is a national YMCA celebration that brings together neighbors of all backgrounds to build strong connections and affirm the importance of inclusive communities.
