Watervliet Civic Center

Watervliet Civic Center offers a Before & After School Program with homework help, mentorship, and activities. It also offers a Youth Recreation Program with leadership training and community service, a Summer Program with sports, arts, and field trips, and a new daycare program now accepting applications.

Before & After School Program enrollment is open for 2026-27. If the Watervliet City School District closes at regular dismissal time and cancels after-school activities, the Watervliet Civic Center will not operate its After School Program. Financial assistance is available through DSS for qualifying families. Summer Recreation Program applicants must have an updated immunization record. The site says there is a general waiver of liability and that the child may participate in activities and events including swimming and field trips.
